And yes priority on tickets but not guaranteed. There would be (for example) 1,000 tickets for a cup final for club London but 5,000 applicants.

Yeah well I would not worry about that Huffers son....

Re: Club London
My rep is Guy.

I have also spoken to Steve Doyle his boss.

Basically Club London is separate to the general admission from what they are saying so no entitlement to ever move.

When we transferred our tickets into Club London more fool us by the looks of it.

With the renewal sitting at three years and £2400 for year one with 3% increases year two and three it’s a rip off and not worth it.

So my options are renew and pray to god someone senior suddenly allows club London members to be reallocated or join the waiting list.

I never got told this in the first place when signing up to Club London. I just fancied a nicer seat. Which it isn’t it gets fucking wet.

So I’m going to ring for a meeting today and see what they say.

Yes the club are not to blame for me having twins but they should help supporters who want to change seats.

Pass the duchy. I'm in club London and firstly they are not asking you to repay the £500 Debenture fee. You are more than entitled to move. Who us your rep?

mind you we apparently still get priority on finals and semi finals so that has got to be worth renewing for..

Re: Club London
Suck it up m8 the club can’t be responsible for your change of circumstances but I wouldn’t worry you don’t need a ST there are many many tickets available for every single home game so you won’t miss out

WHUJONES 7:28 Mon Mar 18
Re: Club London
Just looked at the literature. It was called a joining fee. I certainly didn’t expect to be paying it on renewal. As I’m not joining again.

Huffers 7:24 Mon Mar 18
Re: Club London
It was called a membership fee and the t&c said the membership period is 3 years. I’m not defending the club, just stating what it was sold as.

WHUJONES 7:14 Mon Mar 18
Re: Club London
the club called it a one off reservation fee which you paid nearly a year before we moved in. they were clear it was a one off fee so it wasn't part of the ticket price which was then charged at £504 a month / £2016.

Huffers 7:08 Mon Mar 18
Re: Club London
I think its an unfair way of wording it. The £600 was payable last time, no matter what you call it, making it £2216 on average. I've opted for 10 payments with a £70 fee for the payment plan.

WHUJONES 7:06 Mon Mar 18
Re: Club London
the £600 fee last time round was a reservation fee, whatever the fuck that is, so the actual increase on the ticket is from £2016 to £2400. Pretty much a 20% rise. Plus they've confirmed that it may go up 3% in years 2 and year 3. I think there is a commitment to take the seat for 3 years from what i've read on their terms. They've also ditched the interest free monthly payment plan. It is taking the piss

Re: Club London
Huffers, existing ST holders who are on a list to upgrade surely should not have to stand aside for a Club Londoner who wants to downgrade.

Huffers 3:44 Mon Mar 18
Re: Club London
I dont think the club are going to help too much with Boleyn Bar members and although its not good, I understand why.

Boleyn Bar is the second cheapest package you can get but offers the best seats. I think there are people paying double (and more!) with seats in the upper tier.

Re: Club London
It sounds like you might have already, but have you spoken to the club about this yet?

If it was me, I would email the ticket office and explain calmly what your gripe is and that you'd like to make a complaint

Worth mentioning that the general feeling from all season ticket holders (except band 5) is that the club have really got this renewal wrong in so many ways, ie price rises without any narrative, explanation etc and the early renewal date.

You might find that someone phones back and offers to help you out?

Huffers 3:30 Mon Mar 18
Re: Club London
Exactly. The majority of "customers" are probably paying through a business and saving on VAT.

This issue I have is when I decide to opt-out, I'm not automatically given the chance for a season ticket and people on the waiting list have to be considered before me.

Pages, I make you dead right there.

Re: Club London
I don’t agree with that at all because we’ve got loads of cheap season tickets available, especially for kids.

Club London is there for those who want it and have the money to indulge. Personally I wouldn’t go anywhere near it at that price but it’s not like that’s the norm is it?

Grumpster 3:11 Mon Mar 18
Re: Club London
Reading some prices on here reminds me why I haven't for one single second missed going to home games.

In fact I only really go to the away games as I fucking love alcohol!!!

Am sure it's still cheaper up north, but Christ it's no longer a sport that can be enjoyed by the paupers of Greater London.

The modern game is a massive money making slut.
